Taking tours can be very boring for children. They make a decision that they are not going to like something, and they stick to their guns. This can especially be said about some escorted tours. When a tour guide is bored with their work, having said the said same spiel over and over again, then tend to get a metronome tone to their voices that everyone understand to be boredom. Children pick up quickly on those kinds of tone and this only adds to the child’s belief that they are attending the most boring function in the world.
