Xbox 360 3 Red Lights Problem Gradually Disappearing.
The now infamous xbox 360 3 red lights problem is gradually disappearing for Xbox users. For a couple of years, this problem was the hottest topic of conversation among xbox 360 users on the Internet, in forums and other video game user groups. The reason that it was such a hot topic was that so many people were affected by. It is estimated that at some point, 30 to 33% of all new xbox 360′s that were produced were affected by the 3 red lights issue. The reason that this number was so high is that there was a fundamental design flaw in the first release of the xbox 360 which did not allow for sufficient cooling inside the Xbox. This buildup of heat, and consequent overheating of components inside the Xbox, caused the 3 red lights to appear, which is the Xbox unit’s way of telling you that it has experienced a hardware failure. The exact hardware failure doesn’t automatically mean it is the overheating problem, however, 99 times out of 100, that is the problem or some closely related problem.
Since Microsoft has now made available a 3 year warranty on the 3 red lights problem for all Xbox users you don’t hear nearly as much talk about the problem as you used to. And the talk you do hear is how do I get it fixed rather than, what kind of a company puts out a product that is this defective. So expect in a couple of years that the xbox 360 3 red lights problem will be completely a thing of the past.
