LiteOn SOSC-2483K - CD-RW / DVD-ROM combo drive can be connected via IDE connection. You will have to know something about jumpers to install properly. It works with all the optical media formats .This optical drive is capable of playing high definition DVD videos and writes at speed. If you want to watch high resolution videos, the graphics card must be at least HDCP enabled and monitor must support high resolution. This is a good optical drive, but cannot match with the latest CD /DVD drive combos. Further, blu-ray discs are replacing the DVD drives, so this device is not good choice for buyers.
