I learned long ago that watching a “star” do a commercial for a product does not necessarily mean that product is the best for you. What it does do is get you recognition of that product. I’ve seen the commercials Frank Caliendo does and they surely do not make the Dish Network vs Direct TV decision any easier. I will say that seeing Caliendo’s impression of President George Bush caught my eyes, and that did lead me to look into Dish Network programming a little more in depth. But ultimately I selection Direct TV because of a special they were running that made a little more financial sense.
