When it comes to vacation time then why not take the opportunity to check out some of the great world golf courses. But first, here are some golf vacation tips from a fellow golfer who likes to travel:

1. If you are taking the whole family along then take their likes and dislikes into account. They may not enjoy being immersed in the world of golf for the entire vacation. You can still have a great time on some of the world’s finest courses but also make time for other pursuits which the whole family can enjoy together.

2. Rather than make all the arrangements yourself, look for package deals which can often save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.

3. Make sure that you call in advance and find out what level of difficulty the courses you wish to play on are. No matter how beautiful or famous a course, you will still want to ensure that you have the right level of skill to play it.

4. As with any vacation, be sure to pack light but don’t forget any of your golfing gear including everything from your clubs to accessories such as sunscreen and spare spikes for your shoes.
