I know a lot of people like English riding better in my community. They’re into the shows and the tight style. Frankly I prefer Western Style. I love the open feel and the freedom. I don’t think I could switch over to English style if I wanted too. I’ve got three western saddles and am completely accustomed to them. Some of my friends are pressuring me to switch over so I can compete with them. I think it would be too expensive and too much time for an old hat like me to do that. Besides why do it when I love how I ride and my horses love it too?
