It Was an Interesting Trip
Having never been outside my immediate region, it was super exciting to travel overseas for our anniversary. The flight was kind of a drag, being so long, but we made it through. The airport security was also a pain in the rear, but we finally got in the country. Once we were cleared, we had to go take care of the currency exchange so that we would be able to shop and eat in the local joints. It was a culture shock in a lot of ways but also an extremely enjoyable trip. I still like my hometown, but I was glad to be able to get a taste of a different place.
