I think that among all the different types of furniture, for the common man, modern furniture is one of the easiest ways to decorate. A lot of men like their environment to be simple - they don’t necessarily fuss over all the fluffy details like the ribbons, and the bows, the patterns, or the colours. Well, more modern looking furniture can certainly present itself in the same way that the men’s persona presents itself - in the “I don’t care, but I’m here” motif. If you think of a Bachelor Pad, you think modern, if you think of a boys dorm room, you think the same. I think the men are on to something, let’s not stress over the details, let’s embrace the calm, clean lines of the modern furniture world.
