How society has changed and greeting cards

Have you ever wished you had time to send a greeting card but couldn’t make it to the store didn’t want to spend four bucks to buy one? Life has gotten extremely busy. It’s a statistical fact, the workweek has been extending for about the last 30 years. This has left less time for leisure and other socially oriented activities. I think for this reason people are not sending as many greeting cards they used to. For that matter, they’re just not spending as much time in social situations as they used to.I don’t think this trend is healthy for our society. Social relationships are key to happiness and success. Most will focus on money and acquire in material wealth. But the research is fairly conclusive, your relationships matter more for your happiness and do your material items. In a strange way greeting cards relate to this conversation. If we had started relationships and were spending more time socially, we would probably be sending more thank you cards, birthday cards, and get well cards. But we don’t. We rush around in these crazy lives tacking them full of activity that oftentimes makes us unhappy. So do yourself a favor, and send a greeting card to someone you care about today.
