Is Advanced Prostate Cancer Incurable?
Advance prostate cancer is the diagnosis faced by many men. The cancer has advanced to a possible incurable state though this need not be the case. Limited treatment is available at this stage, but one should not give up hope. False hope should not be given to patients of advance prostate cancer and treatment options should be told them. The quality of life and the patient’s comfort should be the main focus. The patient will need to get in touch with family members informing them of his treatment choice so that the remainder of his life is lived with as much dignity and peace as possible. Never lose hope since medical science is advancing rapidly. Thinking positively can increase a man’s lifespan and allow him to live his life more purposely.
