You know, I am never so glad that I’m not - and never will be - a celebrity when I see those pictures in the women’s gossip magazines (and online) about celebrities with cellulite.

On the one hand, celebrities are maligned for being too obsessed with their body - being too skinny, setting a bad example, going on crazy diets. Yet, sometimes in the same issue, we’re greeted with enlarged pictures of a celebrity’s butt - cellulite dimples and all. The poor woman in the picture can’t win.

Sometimes these magazines accompany the photos with a nice caption about being a ‘real woman’, but usually they’re gleefully showing us how otherwise picture-perfect celebrities get cellulite too. I don’t know about you, but I’d be mortified if my cellulite was splashed on the pages of a woman’s magazine, even if the caption was supporting ‘real women’.

Yes - give me anonymity every time!
