A Las Vegas Vacation

So much time and money has been invested into developing Las Vegas as the premier tourist destination that there quite literally, is nothing in the world like it!  While the buildings themselves are magnificent, each of them competing for your attention with huge displays of lights and stunning visual effects, a lot of attention has also been given to developing other areas of appeal.  The shopping alone - from exclusive boutiques offering all the latest haute couture to the huge outlet malls that are a bargain hunters dream, makes Las Vegas a worthwhile trip.  However that is only the beginning!  Those heading to Las Vegas on vacation will find there is more to do than they ever could have imagined.

Holiday House St Semy De Provence: A Delightful History Lesson

I was determined to find a way to teach my children while we vacationed.  It is easy enough to introduce small children to new ideas, but two boys in high school only wanted to hike, swim, and play on the Internet.  My husband and I finally hit on the idea of choosing historical locations around the world.  Last year we spent two weeks at holiday house st remy de provence.  The beautiful little French home surrounded by mountains offered modern conveniences and broadband but was close to historical places.  I loved the time we spent there, especially since the boys got a very picturesque history lesson without even thinking about it.

Wellington whirlwind

When the GM said to me I had to fly to Wellington for meetings with clients I was quite looking forward to it as I had not been there for a long time. I got online straight away to start organizing everything. I got a car through car hire wellington and booked my accommodation through another site. I had only 2 days in town but I thought if I could plan my flights well, then I would have half a day spare to do some sightseeing. I managed to schedule it all well so I got the time to head down to Oriental Bay and spend some time on the beach.

Missing My Gay Tours And Holidays

When I return from a good vacation and realize that I now have to work for at least six more months before I can have the time to take another one,  it makes me wish I were independently wealthy.  But, I am not so I will have to wait somewhat impatiently for my next round of gay tours and holidays.  It was not so bad before I discovered this mode of vacationing but now that I know what is available out there I hate to think of the fun that others are having together while I am stuck in my office.

My Ideal Hotel in Tiberias

I instantly fell in love with the hotel in Tiberias that I booked. I was skeptical at first, but when I saw it, I was wowed. I checked in at the Scottish House Hotel. The name itself sends an impression that the place is pricey, but I did not mind at all. It is actually one of those upscale boutique hotels in Israel. I could say that this is the best hotel in Tiberias. The ambiance is so fancy. It really fits me. It has a restored British décor, complete with fancy tea time tradition. Isn’t this just the place for me?

No screaming kids on the plane

I do not mind children, I just don’t like to be trapped in small enclosed spaces with small screaming children. Some kids are really good travelers, some leave a little bit to be desired. I just have this feeling that karma is going to bite me in the butt someday when I finally get to add to the tourism in Ireland. I just know I am going to on the one plane with the shrieking kid from hell. But the fact that I will getting to go to Ireland will make up for any travel horrors the plane gods can throw at me.

Going to Germany for the German Christmas Market

Several times per year we get a chance to go to either Britain or Germany for company business. It is usually about 2 weeks that we go for with about a week of actual business on the company’s dime and then we take a week on our own time to go see a few sights since we made the long flight all the way to Europe. Anyway, this Winter will be another trip to Germany to see some of our best customers and then Jane and I will spend a week at Christmas in Nuremberg. And we are really looking for ward to seeing the German Christmas Market which we have heard so much about.
