I have been studying accounting for about 10 years now and have worked in many different segments of accounting over the years. I wanted to work a holistic approach to accounting so every couple years I would go back to school and learn a different segment and get a job at another firm to get my feet wet and experience going. I found accountants are actually an interesting bunch of people. Many are incredibly intelligent and thrive in this field. Many people think accounting is boring but if you love math and figures then accounting is more like a game you play. I kept in touch with my friends and associates over the years and started an accountants club to keep us all together. It’s an interesting bunch let me tell you!
