Temp Agency Provides Solution for Overwhelmed Human Resource Department
My company has two positions to fill in our accounting department, so we placed ads in the classifieds of the local newspaper and in a few select business magazines. The ads listed the qualifications required of the successful candidates. They need to have at least a four year degree in accounting and two or more years work experience. Our Human Resource Department was flooded with calls and resumes in response to the ad. We needed to find a human resource solution to the huge amount of man hours it would take to go through all the resumes and schedule interviews. The head of our HR Department contacted a temp agency that sent three very capable people who filled our needs. After two weeks of sifting through resumes, we were finally ready to begin the interview process.
