These are always two sides of the coin in the great and dizzying age of information growth.  The endless benefits and comfort of living, according to the basic law of technological advancement, during this age of superb information growth go hand in hand with permutations of glitches and issues along the way.  For instance, data transfer is a must but the possibility of losing amounts of data along the transferring process is for real. The process of importing and exporting data from one computer to another is called data conversion, and you can only do this with data conversion software.  As often is the case, data conversion means recording and transformation of data, especially if you’re transferring data from one application to another.  There are hundreds of versions of data conversion tools for MS Windows, Unix, Linux, Novell and other operating systems. Data transfer can be from old computer to new computer, from old system to new system, or a combination of both preceding cases.  Loss of data usually happens if the data on the old machine did not go through data conversion software.
